Celtics Survive Game 1 Thriller Against Pacers

Brown's Late Tre Forces Overtime

Indiana Holds Home Court Advantage

The Boston Celtics eked out a thrilling 119-112 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday night. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 30 points, while Jaylen Brown added 28, including a clutch 3-pointer with just over a minute remaining to force overtime.

The Pacers, who had held a 10-point lead with less than five minutes remaining in regulation, were led by Domantas Sabonis' 24 points and 18 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon added 22 points, and Caris LeVert contributed 19 off the bench.

The Celtics, who improved to 10-3 in the playoffs, will now have a chance to take a 2-0 lead in the series when they host Game 2 in Boston on Sunday night. The Pacers, who fell to 7-6 in the postseason, will need to regroup and find a way to steal at least one game on the road if they want to have a chance at advancing to the NBA Finals.
